Day 1: Arrival in Athens

Arrival transfer from Athens International airport to the hotel. Free time to walk to the Athens City center and Plaka area, the old district of Athens famous for its souvenir shops. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Athens Sightseeing Tour visiting Acropolis

Breakfast at the hotel and you can start the Athens Sightseeing Tour. From the Acropolis to Omonia Square, with the half-day sightseeing and Acropolis museum tour you’ll see all the famous sites of ancient and modern Athens on this comprehensive morning tour. Offering a perfect overview of the modern city, this guided half-day tour, the only one which includes headphone system will help you get your bearings if this is your first visit to Athens. The Athens half-day tour, depart for a photo stop at Panathinaiko Stadium where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. It is the only stadium built out of white marble. Proceed, passing by Zappeion and Temple of Olympian Zeus.  You will then pass the Athens Trilogy which includes the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library. Continue passing by National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schliemann’s House (Numismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral,  Old Parliament, Constitution Square ,Russian Orthodox Church, and finally Acropolis (visit Propylae, Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon, Erechtheion with its Porch of Maidens). Continue the expert guided Athens sightseeing and museum tour with a pleasant short walk passing by Herodion and Dionysos Theater, in order to visit the Acropolis Museum. Avoid and skip the lines of the new museum. Main attractions such as votives, artifacts of every day life, statues from archaic period, Caryatids, and of course the Parthenon hall with the metopes, the pediments and the frieze will impress you. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Athens - Mykonos

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Piraeus port for a boat to Mykonos. Arrival in Mykonos Port and transfer to the hotel. Then spend the whole day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Mykonos

Breakfast at the hotel. Our mini bus and escort will pick you up at 09:15 from your hotel and transfer you to the old port of Mykonos where you will meet your tour guide and sail to Delos island for a visit of the most important ancient civilization archaeological site of the Eastern Mediterranean. Once on the island your tour guide will take you through the entire ancient city with its market places, the public squares, the Temple of Apollo, the sanctuary of Artemis, the old city & the amphitheater and walk down the celebrated Lion Street. You will also visit the museum of Delos and admire the Archaic, Classical, Hellenistic and Roman Sculptures, a collection of vessels from all the periods as well as small items used in the every day life of the inhabitants. Researches of the ancient stones found on the grounds indicate that Delos has been inhabited since the 3rd millennium BC. At the end of your tour and before you board the small ferry to return back to Mykonos you can take a break and enjoy a refreshment at the café next to the Museum. For those who will not join us for our supplementary options, transportation service will be provided back to your hotel or to a location of your choice on the island. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Mykonos - Santorini

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Mykonos port for a boat to Santorini. Arrival transfer from Santorini port to hotel. Then spend the whole day at leisure. Experience the delicacies provided by the local taverns, making sure to taste the local ‘fava’ dip. You can’t come to Santorini Island without watching the sunset from picturesque Oia at the top of the island. Why not enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants in Oia while you’re there. Perhaps visit the pretty village of Megalochori with its 17th-century houses is also visit worthy, as is the archaeological site at Akrotiri. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Santorini
Breakfast at the hotel. The bus picks up clients from the designated pick up points and drives them to Athinios port, in order to embark on the traditional boat (caique).
The first stop is at the islet of Nea Kameni, which is the Volcano of Santorini.  There, clients have the opportunity to climb to the crater of the still active, but dormant Volcano, 127 meters above the sea level, which last erupted in 1950.
After 1 ½ hour, the boat leaves the Volcano and heads to the small islet of Palaia Kameni orHot Springs, as it is better known, which was formed through the centuries by several Volcanic eruptions.  Along the coastline of the isle there are many hot springs, and clients have 30 minutes to swim in the warm yellow-green waters, which are considered to have healing powers.
The next stop is at Thirassia, the second largest island after Santorini in the Caldera.  The island, located opposite of Santorini, is quiet and unaffected by the large numbers of tourist arriving every day.  Here, clients will have 2 hours free time to explore the island, have lunch in one of many small taverns, or swim in the crystal clear waters.
Finally, the boat departs from Thirassia and heads to the traditional port of Ammoudi, from where the clients take the stairs to Oia village (on foot or by donkeys).  In Oia, clients can explore the traditional settlement, wander in the narrow streets, admire the unique architecture, blending large Venetian houses and small cave homes, and of course watch the world famous sunset. After the sunset, the buses will be waiting in the parking area to return clients to their hotels. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Santorini - Athens
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Santorini port for a boat to Athens. Arrival transfer from Piraeus port to hotel. Then Spend the whole day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Athens
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Athens International airport for a flight back home.
