Day 1: Vancouver
Our guide will meet you at the airport for transfer to the hotel. After, we will take a half-day tour of the city that includes stops at Canada Place, Olympic Cauldron and Stanley Park etc, and take a mini ferry ride to Granville Island.
Day 2: Vancouver
Today we will head from Vancouver to the famous Whistler-Blackcomb Ski Resort in Whistler, BC. Here, guests will have the chance to take the Peak 2 Peak Gondola Ride and have some free time to relax. We will return to Vancouver in the late afternoon.
Day 3: Vancouver – Victoria
Board the BC Ferry from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay. Visit the famous Butchart Gardens, the 55-acre garden has been drawing you since it was started in a limetone quarry in 1904. Pass by the Gate of Harmonious at Chinatown. Explore the Inner Harbour by foot or carriage (optional) and visit Fairmont Empress, the BC Legislative Buildings, Thunderbird Park, Beacon Hill Park and Mile “0”.
Day 4: Victoria – Vancouver
Visit the Hatley Castle and the Goldstream Provincial Park to discover heritage and nature wonders. Head to Chemainus afterwards and visit the Totem city – Duncan. The murals on the streets illustrate the development of Chemainus. Arrive at Nanaimo by late afternoon and take the BC Ferry to Horseshoe bay and then back to Vancouver.
Day 5: Vancouver – Vernon
Start our journey via the trans-Canada highway, pass through Fraser Valley and head east for Kelowna, the heart of the Okanagan Valley. At Lake Okanagan, listen to its legendary story and search for the lake monster “Ogopogo.” Afterwards, visit the renowned winery to learn about the basics of wine making. Stop by a honey farm and then settle down at Vernon.
Day 6: Vernon – Banff
Proceed to the Eagle Pass and visit the “Last Spike”. After passing through Golden, enter Yoho National Park and visit the Natural Bridge and the Emerald Lake. Ride the Gondola (adm) to the summit of the Sulphur Mountain and enjoy a bird’s eye view of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Then, experience the Bow Valley and visit the Bow Falls. Arrive in the quintessential alpine village of Banff. Stay overnight in Banff.
Day 7: Banff – Glacier View
After passing the Castle Mountain, head to Moraine Lake (subjected to road condition). The view was featured on the back of Canadian twenty dollar bill. Next, enjoy a short lakeside walk along the shores of lovely Lake Louise. Celebrate your day of mountain adventures with a fine meal at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise (meal plan). After passing by Bow Lake, visit the Peyto Lake. At sunset, get ready for a memorable ride across Athabasca Glacier on a VIP massive vehicle – “Ice Explorer” (adm). Get the very best experience and stay at the unique hotel at the Columbia Icefield that features spectacular views of the Athabasca Glacier during the day and unmatched stargazing at night.
Day 8: Jasper National Park – Valemount
In the morning, step onto the Glacier Skywalk (adm) and have a thrilling experience on a platform where glass is all that separates you from a 280m drop. After visiting the Athabasca Falls, head to Jasper town. You can capture the most magnificent view of mother nature by river rafting (optional), horseback riding (optional), or simply stroll along the heart-shaped Beauvert Lake next to the Jasper Park Lodge. Proceed to Mt. Robson and arrive at Valemount by evening.
Day 9: Valemount – Vancouver
Travel along Thompson River and pass the district of Clearwater and Wells Gray Provincial Park. Head west to Kamloops, a city with over 2,000 hours of sunshine per year. Visit the only GMP certified Ginseng factory in west Canada and learn about the amazing healing power of Ginseng. After passing by Hope and Hunter’s Creek, return to Vancouver.
